Our Story

I love wine!

I've always enjoyed trying new wines and I have my favorites (New World Pinot Noir and Viognier) but it wasn't until a friend and I started hosting dinner parties with wine pairings that I became obsessed with the story behind a glass of wine, why the same grapes taste different depending on the region or producer and why some wines were better paired with certain foods than others.

I decided I would take some classes to "officially" learn about "all things wine" so I started with the Wine & Spirit Education Trust Level 1 certification and I've been hooked ever since. I'm now a Level 3 candidate and I'm having fun (plus tasting LOTS of wine). These classes are what led me to create Pour Pairings®  subscription boxes. I was looking for a way to make wine fun, relatable, and informative for MYSELF and for my friends. They've help me "study" (aka drink the wines I'm tasting for class) and have enjoyed my wine education journey as much as I have.

Each month, the Pour Pairings® box is tailored to a specific wine or grape varietal. It contains high quality hand-picked snacks, gadgets, and other wine related items plus some fun facts and wine education delivered to your door every month.
